DMCA & Copyright Policy

Last Updated: October 18, 2026

KissAsian (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects visitors to https://kissasianweb.org (the “Site”) to do the same. This Copyright Policy explains how rights holders can report alleged infringement, how we respond, and how a removal may be contested. It is designed to comply with the notice-and-takedown procedure of the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and we apply it equally to notices sent under comparable laws elsewhere.

1. Our Role

The Site is a catalogue of dramas, films, and television programmes. We do not upload, store, or transmit video files. Videos appearing on the Site are hosted by independent third-party platforms and displayed through embedded players.

A takedown notice sent to us will therefore result in the removal of the relevant player, link, or page from the Site. It will not remove the file from the platform that hosts it. To have the file itself removed, you should also send a notice to that platform (see Section 11).

2. Before You Submit a Notice

Please consider whether the use of the material is authorised by you, your agent, or the law, including under doctrines such as fair use or fair dealing. Only the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on the owner’s behalf may submit a notice. If you are unsure whether material infringes your rights, we recommend that you seek legal advice before submitting a notice.

3. Submitting a Notice of Infringement

To be effective, your notice must be in writing and must include all of the following:

  1. a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or of a person authorised to act on the owner’s behalf;
  2. identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed or, if multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list of them;
  3. identification of the material claimed to be infringing, including the exact URL of each page on the Site where it appears, sufficient to permit us to locate it;
  4. your full name, postal address, telephone number, and email address;
  5. a statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  6. a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.

Notices that do not substantially comply with these requirements may not be acted upon. We may ask you to supply missing information.

4. Where to Send a Notice

Please send notices by email to support@kissasianweb.org, with “Copyright Notice” in the subject line.

5. How We Respond

On receiving a notice that substantially complies with Section 3, we will review it promptly and in good faith. Where appropriate, we will remove or disable access to the identified material, including any link posted in a visitor comment, and we may notify the person who provided the material. We may also forward a copy of the notice, which may include your contact details, to that person or to the platform that hosts the file. We reserve the right to decline notices that are incomplete, abusive, or plainly unfounded.

6. Counter-Notification

Because the players on the Site are published by us rather than by visitors, counter-notices will rarely arise. Nevertheless, if material that you provided was removed as a result of a notice and you believe the removal resulted from a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to support@kissasianweb.org containing:

  1. your physical or electronic signature;
  2. identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal;
  3. a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  4. your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or that person’s agent.

7. Restoration of Material

On receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the person who submitted the original notice. Unless that person notifies us, within ten (10) to fourteen (14) business days, that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the alleged infringement, we may restore the removed material.

8. Repeat Infringers

We will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate or restrict the access of any person who is the subject of repeated valid notices of infringement, including by removing their comments and preventing further comments from them.

9. Misrepresentation

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees. Please make sure that your notice or counter-notice is accurate before you submit it.

10. Rights Holders Outside the United States

We accept notices from rights holders in any country. Notices under laws other than the DMCA are welcome, provided that they contain equivalent information sufficient for us to identify the work, the material, and your authority to act.

11. Contacting the Video Host

Because video files are stored by third-party platforms, removal from the internet requires a request to the relevant platform. Most platforms provide a copyright or “report” function, or publish the contact details of their designated agent. We cannot remove files from servers we do not control and are not responsible for the response times or decisions of third-party platforms.

12. Other Complaints

Complaints about trademarks, privacy, or other matters that do not concern copyright may also be sent to support@kissasianweb.org. Please describe the right concerned, the material at issue, and its location on the Site.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may amend this Copyright Policy at any time. The “Last Updated” date above shows when it was last revised.
